For the second time in our brief history, 2011 was an Oxford year for the Patristic members of APECSS and we did not hold a conference. Instead, on 12 August those members in attendance at the 16th Oxford Patristics Conference from 8-12 August held a social gathering to renew friendships
and catch up on each other’s research activities. We congratulate Kazuhiko Demura, who was one of the invited keynote lecturers for the conference, the first from Japan.
